Listing Policy

Minstrel is a dedicated portal collecting and publishing information about game music concerts held in Japan. Our goal is not to list every concert, but to accurately deliver information focused on game music.

What is "Game Music"?

Minstrel lists concerts that perform music originally composed for video games — including game soundtracks and music created specifically for games.

Examples of eligible concerts

Concerts performing music from Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, Dragon Quest, and other game series
Orchestra or wind ensemble concerts themed around game soundtracks

Examples of ineligible concerts

Concerts performing only music from anime, manga, or film IPs (even if those IPs later received game adaptations)
Concerts featuring only anime songs, J-POP, or other non-game music

For concerts mixing game music with other genres, we evaluate the program content on a case-by-case basis.

How We Collect Information

Concert information is automatically collected from official ticket sites, organizer websites, and official social media accounts. All listings go through a mechanical validation process, but we cannot guarantee complete accuracy.

Always check each concert's official sources for the latest information on schedules, tickets, and cancellations.
